Our management team are well versed in their respective fields. The team share a keen focus on the early years and providing a service that hopes to be among the best in Doha.
Sabeena Iqbal - Owner & Nursery Director
Sabeena is a Business studies graduate from University of Middlesex. Having lived and worked in London, Middle East and India, she has experienced different work cultures.
Having a keen interest in education and working with children, took up the opportunity to invite and run the nursery in Qatar.
Her previous experience in Medical Services and Educational Institutions , while assisting her husband in running their Group of schools, has stood her in good stead.

Grace Vernon - Parent Relations Manager
Grace is such a sweet addition to Kanga's! An exceptionally calm and caring personality, she brings so much joy to the nursery and to the management team! Originally from Lancashire, England, Grace is a qualified nurse who worked for the NHS before moving to Doha with her husband and now has two beautiful children. She taught at a nursery for a year before wanting to move back to nursing and admin/management. As the Parent Relations Manager, Grace is the first point of call for parents and nursery admissions. She is also in charge of nursery standards and managing staff.

Cheri Potgieter - Nursery Manager/Head Teacher
Cheri and her son moved from South Africa to join her husband and Kanga's in early 2014. She enjoys the company of young children and has for this reason studied her Diploma of Early Childhood Education and chosen early years teaching as her profession. Cheri loves spending time with her family. She is our head teacher and is involved with all our planning for all classrooms. Cheri has been promoted to Nursery Manager and is also covering Grace's Maternity leave.

Hanin Jaber - Administrative assistant & Arabic Teacher
We welcome Hanin a very honest and an incredibly helpful person who previously worked as administrator in another nursery. She is an added value to our management team. She is teaching arabic to the children in Rabbits Residence. Her main duties include HR, finance, ministry, legal and licensing requirements for the nursery.
Originally from Palestine and moved to Qatar in 2017 with her husband and her 4yr old son. Her son is currently attending school in KG2. Hanin is a qualified accountant however her passion to work in a nursery setting has led her to join our Kanga's Team
Oluwatobi Mary Babatude (Mary) - Paediatric Nurse
Mary is our registered nurse who has joined us in May 2019. She is an energetic bubbly person and proving a huge hit with the children. She qualified as a registered general nurse 7 years ago in 2012. In the last 7 years she has gained a huge amount experience in paediatric department in her home country Nigeria. She moved to Qatar in 2017 with her husband and son Andrew where she has worked in a Dental clinic and a health centre. She has passed her Prometric exam and is fully registered to work in Qatar. In her spare time she enjoys travelling and playing the piano.
